Photos from SFMOMA’s Dieter Rams retrospective that included a number of contemporary design objects influenced by the Braun designer’s aesthetic, such our very own TMA-1.
The regular followers of this blog will know that we were proud to be included in SFMOMA’s inspiring exhibition ‘Less and More: the Design and Ethos of Dieter Rams’, which documented Dieter Rams’ creative accomplishments and displayed a collection of contemporary industriel design influenced by the iconic designer. We’re still very proud of this fact as it turns out that not only have we been thrown into a mix of contemporary design items, but we’re also right next to iconic pieces of design such as the iPhone and MacBook Air. Check out photos from the inspiring exhibition here...
Do also take a couple of minutes to watch the interesting film in the top slider - 'Less but Better: A conversation with Dieter Rams' made by Dwell Magazine. It's a rare glimpse into the mind behind one of the most well-articulated complete design visions in history.
The exhibition runs until February 20th, 2012
