Have you ever been standing in pouring rain – without getting wet? The 'Rain Room' is a hi-tech indoor rainstorm that falls heavily everywhere except on the individual walking through it.
Now three young artists are controlling the rain. Without getting wet. The water drops everywhere except where the individual is walking. This is down to a bunch of 3D sensors that attracts body movement and makes sure that it stops raining wherever you're stepping inside the 100-m2 installations.
The installation at the Barbican in London is open now. Entrance is free and towels will be provided, so get going!
