Rump Recordings' finest promote their latest album, 'Limousine to the Guillotine', in an attention-grabbing way.

Quasi Dub Development's debut album “Limousine to the Guillotine” has just got its new music promo released in a form of an iPhone app. The app was developed in collaboration with Rump Recordings and Futura Epsis (the collective behind GRID) and it combines game mechanics with unlockable tracks featuring remixes from artists like Thomas Knak aka Opiate, Jason Forrest , Kim Hiorthøy, Guido Möbius and Loopspool (Tied + Tickled Trio).

“The task in the game is to destroy enemy cells by firing particles from your own cells. As you fire the particles your cells reduce in size, which can then be merged by applying multitouch to the screen. Each enemy cell has a lifeline and they also fire back. As you complete the next level, a remix unlocks."

Go get the app right here for free, and blow those little stinkers up, so you can fight your way through to music - great concept, by the way.
