Stüssy went to Glasgow to have a chat with David Shrigley, celebrated artist, and creator of stupendously warped animated videos for Bonnie Prince Billy and Blur.
It’s hard to find fault with David Shrigley. In fact, we dare you to try. The mild-mannered but mischievious Glasgow-based artist has had his work featured everywhere from the New York Times to Bonnie Prince Billy videos, and we dare say that he’s accomplished all this without losing one inch of credibility or edge.
In this concise, little feature the nice people over at Stüssy ask Shrigley a few pertinent questions, which he’s kind enough to answer in a forthright and subtly impish way that befits his artistic output.
