A brand new interview with disco pioneer Giorgio Moroder has surfaced. The now 72 year old Moroder talks about collaborating with Daft Punk on their much-anticipated new album set to release in May..
Giorgio Moroder is a legend. He pioneered the disco sound during the 1970’s using SYNTHESIZERS – a new craze of that time. He is the man behind Donna Summers all time classic, ‘I Feel Love’, dubbed one of the most influential dance music tracks of all time. He also worked in Hollywood creating soundtracks for films such as Midnight Express, Scarface, American Gigolo, Flashdance and Top Gun earning him three Academy Awards and three Grammys.
The rumour of a possible venture between Moroder and Daft Punk circulated for a while without being confirmed. Now I believe!
