As an electronic music lover visiting Paris, these are the 3 must-go-to places in town.

Betino’s Record Shop
This record shop specializes in house, soul, funk, Latin and disco, and is run by a very kind elderly gentleman. Both new arrivals and 2nd hand vinyl’s are to be found at neat prices. Ask the guy working there if you can go in the stock in the back of the store – that’s where the real gems are to be found.

Syncrophone

Label, distribution & record store all in one. This is THE shop in Paris. You've got all the latest and coolest arrivals in house & techno right at your hands. It’s a 5-minute walk from metro Bastille at Rue des Taillandiers. If you’re into the harder shades of electronic music (minimal, gabba, hardstyle etc.) the record shop Techno Import is located 50 meters down the same street and it's also recommendable.

Concrete

The infamous Sunday all-day boat party. Located on the Seine River near metro Gare Du Lyon at Quai De La Rapée, this party is nothing short of mind-blowing – I dare say that it’s probably one the best parties in Europe. Every second Sunday some of the finest acts in underground electronic music gather for a 20-hour rave, starting at 07 AM and closing at 04 AM Monday morning. The capacity of the party is 1.500 (that’s right!) and the boat is split up into two stages – a main stage and an outdoor terrace. Quality does come at the price of 20€ though, but not only do you get the chance to hear some of the world’s best underground acts, you can also treat yourself with a great-ass burger for 10€ incl. fries. Yum!
