Check out Michael Cera's directorial debut right here, right now.

Last week a short movie from Michael Cera appeared online. You might recognize the name from movies such as Juno, Superbad, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, or series like Arrested Development. Or perhaps as 'that awkward boy' from those movies. The short movie called Brazzaville Teen-Ager is Cera's directorial debut.

Cera, also being the main character in the short movie, once again delivers a strong awkward, yet profound scenery, in which he tries to save his estranged dad who landed in the hospital. In order to save him, he has to ask his boss for a favor. A favor that lands them singing in the studio alongside with Kelis, and features Heems (Das Racist) as one of the engineers.

Wonderfully profound and strangely entertaining. This director's debut from Michael Cera leaves us wishing for more.
