The book about the A-house was made by Anders Find and Kristian Sæderup as an attempt to visualize the life inside the A-house. Although the exterior looked the same - it look like an old idustrial building from the sixties - the inside turned into an intense and dynamic environment with more than 200 creative people residing. Neglected and ramshackle the house turned out to be some kind of an alternative cultural centre. To buy the book click here.
A similar project is now happening in Siljangade, another old industrial house in a different part of Copenhagen. Again we've brought together a bunch of creatives - artists, designers, architects, photographers and the like - and we a currently in a dialogue with the local politicians in terms of supporting the project as yet another urban creaative community. The photographers Anders and Kristian are once again in the process of visualizing the current life of the house in Siljangade and we will surely keep you posted along the way. Stay tuned!
